There are several ways I can support you:
- Articles, videos, and vlogs
I frequently write articles, create videos on a variety of topics including business, leadership, team management, Equality, and personal development. You can find out more about these opportunities by signing up to my mailing list or following me on social media and my website.
- Webinars, Events, Workshops, and other activities
I host and take part in a range of webinars and events and run workshops in my specialist areas, most of which are open to the public. Some are only available to my closed group and communities. You can find out about these activities by signing up to my mailing list, following my social media links or websites.
- Public speaker, lecturer, presenter, and host
I have spoken as keynote speaker, and panellist, on numerous occasions and events. This includes speaking at the European Commission on Flexible Working, Leadership management and gender equality, Women in Management and a range of other topics and conferences around the world. I also speak at seminars, webinars, workshops, interviews on TV and Radio (BBC and others). Additionally, other topics include race and equality, women in business, personal, professional, and business development. And finally, hosting my own TV programme.
I have been a radio host, running my own programme on BBC Radio Leicester, EAVA FM and providing weekly visitors slots on other broadcasts. I have lectured at Universities on Leadership, management, entrepreneurship, business start-up and business growth.
- Working with me directly
With over three decades of experience, knowledge, and ‘know’-how’ gained from working with a wide range of sectors and areas of business, I bring a unique perspective to support business leaders, Human Resources professionals and their stakeholders to achieve their programme and business strategy through their people.
As a people development specialist, I advise organisational leaders on how to create happy, motivated and engaged staff that are inspired to deliver excellent service. Happy people create happy customers.
And as a Diversity and Inclusion consultant, I support organisations to create cultures that honestly address blind spots, areas of difference and support the value of difference, change, and inclusion for the benefit of all stakeholders. I do this through an inclusive, open, and effective series of programmes where everyone’s views are heard and respected, but the values and objectives set are upheld. This moves the organisation forward together creating an agreed more inclusive, diversity welcoming environment.
At the start of 2021, I was listed in the Queen’s New Year’s Honours List and awarded the honour of an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for my services to Equality.
Confidentiality is paramount to me and my business. You can be reassured that all information you discuss, or share will be kept in the strictest of confidence within the terms of our agreement to work together.

Additional background stuff
I am especially passionate about helping women to achieve and be recognised for their successes, whether this is in their business, career, life, or within the local community. As a businesswoman myself, I am all too familiar with the lack of female senior managers and executives, especially from ethnic backgrounds.
My belief is that through collaboration, women have the opportunity to develop, share ideas, and achieve recognition and success for their hard work. As the National Chair of the Chartered Management Institute’s (CMI) Women in Management Network (WiM – 2010 – 2013), I expanded the membership structure across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland from 5k to 23k members, and I developed the WIMUK online community. Within this role, I also created the Horizon Mentoring® program, which has trained and supported hundreds of women in their management and career development.
This experience was one of my main inspirations behind the creation of the East Midlands Women’s Awards (EMWA) – to celebrate the achievements of women from all areas of business and the community. In 2020 EMWA became The Women’s Awards, extending its reach into the West Midlands.
