I was honoured to receive an invitation to attend Leicestershire’s Black Police Association’s Black History Month, Leicestershire Police and our Black Community. The event gave recognition of the contributions from members of the community, black civic leaders, and black community groups along with our T/Chief Constable, Rob Nixon.
Leicester is a very special place, celebrated for its level of community cohesion. It is great to witness the Police giving such recognition to the hard work and commitment of everyday people who have been making a huge positive difference for the people around them.
