I was recently a panellist on Insight Hour: Domestic abuse through an intersectional lens.

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to a domestic abuse case, different people might have very different needs depending on their experience, characteristics, and individual circumstances. That is why applying an intersectional lens in your domestic abuse response is so important.

This webinar is hosted by Meena Kumari, a member of EIDA’s Advisory Council and founder of HOPE Training & Consultancy. Meena facilitates a conversation with representatives of various groups, to illustrate how domestic abuse can impact these groups differently and how employers can implement these perspectives in their responses. We will tackle domestic abuse and disability, race, and the LGBT+ perspective.
