A Flower With Thanks

I love the work I do, sharing information and knowledge across all industries that help leaders at all levels within organisations understand not only the impact of their decisions but how to ensure that those decisions are based on equity and inclusion for the people they serve and their staff.

I’m been fortunate over the past year or so to have included the list of sectors I work in the VAWG sector – Violence Against Women and Girls – for anyone who has not come across this acronym before.  One of the organisations I’m proud to work with is Standing Together Against Domestic Abuse

What a lovely surprise to receive in the post this morning this beautiful handmade flower as a gift of appreciation not just for my work but for my passion and strength, as the attached message says. This has really touched my heart this morning and will likely continue to do so for a very long time.

Turning our experiences into something good for the benefit of others is one of the most important things we can do as human beings.
